The Earl of Walgrave is known as the

She retreats to the old country estate seeking sanctuary and finds her sister. Verity is certain that her childhood sweetheart will help if only she can contact him. The siblings come up with a plan so that they can both escape their tyrannical male relatives. They will pose as highwaymen until they can raise enough money to travel across country.
