This book is a follow up to the fabulous
love story The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks. Instead of being about Noah and Allie this time it is about their daughter Jane and her husband Wilson Lewis.
This book is essentially about how love can change and though you might think it is over things do turn out okay.
Jane and Wilson Lewis may have had a shining example of love in Noah and Allie but over thirty years they have grown apart. Wilson loves his wife more than he did when he married her but because of his work as an estate lawyer and his inability to express how he feels easily he has kept his wife and family at arms distance. This book is about Wilson’s desire to change and make his wife fall in love with him again and how he does it amongst the chaos of his crowded life and his daughter’s upcoming wedding.
If you read The Notebook you are going to love this it is another wonderful love story with complex characters that you want to get their heart’s desire. I thought this was a well told story and you could really feel the emotions Wilson was going through when trying to win his lady wife’s love.
I would recommend this to anyone who loves a good story enjoy.
