This book is about Langdon Carter and how his
life changed when he fell deeply in
love for the first time with Jamie Sullivan,
the Baptist Ministers daughter. It is a highly emotional account of first
love and how no matter what
life threw at them their love just grew stronger.
I found this book was an intense read and unable to put down; the rollercoaster of the developing relationship between Langdon and Jamie as seen through the eyes of Langdon some 40 years later was what made it a mesmerising read. The twists and turns in the plot make for some laughs and tears along the way.
Anyone who has read Nicholas Sparks books will know that he loves to tell a good story and he does again with characters that come to life and make you want them to get what they desire most.
I would recommend this book to anyone; it is called A Walk to Remember and I think is a well written book.
