This is an intense story about Miles Ryan and his son Jonah and how they cope after losing Missy Ryan, wife and mother
to an unsolved hit and run.  Two years after it happened and Miles is thinking about finding a new love when Sarah Andrew comes into his life as Jonah’s teacher and then Miles’s girlfriend.  They have both suffered and it is their mutual hurt that initially brings them together and they start to reach out to each other and they start to laugh again and fall in love for the first time in years.
Little do they know their life’s are inextricably linked to someone with a shocking secret which when it comes out threatens to destroy Miles, Jonah and Sarah when the truth comes out about Missy’s Death and who was responsible for it.
This is a story about love, death, life, revenge and everything in between.  Nicholas Sparks has written another masterpiece with characters that you are keen to see get what they want.  I think this is a well written story which covers a lot of the main issues that happen in life. I recommend this to all Nicholas Sparks fans and anyone who likes a good story.
