Several authors are represented in this work. Some of the selected works are summarized below:
“Nudity is a State of Mind” by Alan Zweible

For some odd reason Alan Zweibel decided to accept an invitation to a nudist colony at one time in his life. He tries to convince his wife to come with him, but she gave him permission to go on this assignment alone.
During his time at the colony, which was primarily for couples, he learns quite a bit. Thus, the title of this short work which is “Nudity is a State of Mind.”
“Holy Holiday in Hell” by P. J. O’ Rourke

Originally P.J. O’ Rourke had attended a scheduled event sponsored by this organization because of the anger regarding this evangelist couple’s hypocrisy. Aside from criticizing the Bakker family for its excess use of drugs and participation in extramarital affairs, O’ Rourke also notices the mobs of Christians shopping in the nearby mall.
Additional stories were published in this collection:

  • A short account of a lady (Donna Marazzo) who gets stuck in an Italian bathroom is included. The problem is that the equipment in it was far to high-tech for her.

  • “Failing to Learn Japanese in Five Minutes” by Dave Barry: He obviously did not succeed in his attempt to learn Japanese. He could not even successfully order a beer. Poor man!

  • Bill Bryson tells of his tale of vacation in Paris. He was wondering why everyone there hated him so much. Apparently he did not at all feel welcome!

  • This book contains a total of 28 stories and all, guaranteed to make you laugh until your gut is sore. Or at the very least they will put a smile on your face and make you chuckle.
