My Man Jeeves

Book Review by: ashishdimri

Original Author: PG Wodehose
My man Jeeves
PG Wodehouse
PG Wodehouse doesn’t  need any introduction. His Jeeves  is  a  globally acclaimed
character. True  aficionados   claim that  Jeeves can provide  an instant answer to  all their  queries.
My man Jeeves was first published in 1919.It is  a  collection of humorous short stories by one of the most readable wordsmiths.
Jeeves is  a  valet to  equally eccentric  Bertie  Rooster.
It is believed that these characters were based on  his real aunts.
Literary critics believe that  PG  was a real  wit ,who could have  conjure  up any thing under the sun. No wonder, his books  are always lapped up  across the globe.
His  eternal Jeeves  comes across  a  humorous  but  efficient character.
His Jeeves  can do  anything  and without  any qualms.
He can  be  as helpful  character  as  you won’t him to be.
His  approach  is  always  helpful irrespective of circumstances.
Many admirers believe that  PG created it to relieve this world  of  unwanted  stress,  man made   problems  and  depression.
Alas, we no longer  have another  PG and his eternal Jeeves!
