Book Review   by:Nick80     Original Author: JK.Rowling

Harry Poter, J.K.Rowling, Deathly HallowsHarry Poter, J.K.Rowling, Deathly HallowsHarry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is the seventh and final book in the Harry Potter series of novels by J. K. Rowling. An interview with JK Rowling about the book on BBC One, where they quote her as saying:
"Finishing the book is a relief. I can't think of anyone who could know how I felt. Actually finishing it was the most remarkable feeling I've ever had. I felt euphoria, devastated, when I finished one chapter near the end I absolutely howled, it had been planned for so long.
When asked "What does 'Deathly Hallows' mean?" J.K. Rowling responded, "Any clarification of the meaning of 'Hallows' would give away too much of the story. Hallow is a word usually used as a verb, meaning "to make holy or sacred, to sanctify or consecrate. Hallows can refer to saints, the relics of saints, the relics of gods, or shrines in which the relics are kept. Since the essence of these saints or gods were often considered present at their shrines and in their relics, hallows came to refer to the saints or gods themselves, rather than just their relics or shrines. Hallow is not to be confused with hollow. The Harry Potter series was originally published as a children's book by British publisher Bloomsbury, and American publisher Scholastic Press. It rapidly became a phenomenal success amongst children and adults alike. The books contain significant elements of fantasy and magic, combined with a detective-novel approach to the story.
A book produced by the fan site ‘MuggleNet’ reached position second on the New York Times best seller list. Rowling has stated that she takes great pleasure from the interest of fans in the series.
Even though Harry Potter books have become famous around the world, some people don't like them. Some people think that reading about Harry Potter will get their children involved with witchcraft. Some parents think Harry Potter books should be banned from schools. J.K. Rowling says she hasn't seen one child that says that he or she has developed an interest in witchcraft because of her books. Rowling says that even though people haven't approved of her books having witchcraft in them, she plans to continue to write the four other Harry Potter books (to make seven in the series.) I think that her literature should get a little more respect because she worked so hard on this series and still hasn't finished.
I think Harry Potter books should not be banned. I feel this way because the books are for enjoyment. They don't teach kids to be bad and to practice witchcraft. Actually the books show that in the end, Good will triumph over Evil.
