Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

Book Review by: mikeyleeray

Original Author: J.K. Rowling
Harry Potter is spending another summer in Privet Drive, waiting as
always for the scarlet steam engine, the Hogwarts
Express to shunt him
away from the clutches of his Aunt Petunia, his Uncle Vernon and his
cousin Dudley. But little does Harry know that something far darker and
far worse is waiting for him as he returns to Hogwarts school of
Witchcraft and Wizardry to begin his fourth year at the school.
Something bigger even than the event that many wizards, Harry included,
have been looking forward to for a long time, the Quidditch World Cup.
For this year, the Triwizard Tournament, a competition between the most
famous Wizarding schools in the world, those of Hogwarts, Beauxbatons
and Durmstrang will be coming to Hogwarts and with it revelations that
will shock Harry and his friends like never before. Once again there is
a new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher but this year Harry will
have other things on his mind, for someone has entered his name into
the Goblet of Fire and has forced him to enter the Triwizard Tournament
even though at just fourteen he is underage.
From dragons to merpeople, to nosy reporters to the ever-present threat
of his arch-nemesis Draco Malfoy to the latest news with his godfather
Sirius Black, Harry will hardly have time to miss Quidditch at school
this year. But something else is lurking out there as well, Lord
Voldermort''s most faithful servant has returned to him and intends to
use Harry in a scheme to resurrect his fallen master. Three tasks Harry
will have to face this year as he fights off the rumours circulating
about him, the jeers and threats from the Slytherins and the nightmares
that have plagued his sleep. Nightmares of a vision that very well may
come true.
