Who is Eragon?
Eragon is a poor farmer boy who lives in a small village called Carvahall in the
land of Alagaësia. One day he finds a beautiful, blue, stone in the forest. And that is when his adventure really beginnes. Just a few weeks after the finding of the stone, Eragon finds himself to be the witness to a young dragons birth. It was the "stone" he found that revealed it self to be an egg, not a stone.
Eragon names the dragon Saphira, and together they find themselves to have become the re-birth of an ancient order of protectors of the land Alagaësia. And the ledgent of dragons and dragon-righters comes alive once more.
But still there are many great dangers in his path and his whole life changes over just one night. He gets thrown in to a world of magic, power struggles and elves, amongst other peculiur creatures. With only an old sword to help him, and a storyteller as guid, Eragon and Saphira must
travel through places infected by terrible evil, and an Empire, rueld by a king whos evil know no boundaries...

And let''s not forgett the motion picture that have been made out of the first book quite resantly. Though I must say that in my oppinion, the movie isn''t even HALF as good as the book!
