In the grim future of the 41st millenium Jaq Draco - one of the
Imperium''s secret inquisitors - has been given the
task, to watch over
the operations of a witchunter as he purges the heresy-infested planet
of Stalinvast. He''s accompanied in his mission by such powerful
individuals like Meh''Lindi, the imperial assasin - who''s not only a
master of combat, but also possesses the ability of shapeshifting -,
Vitali Googol, the navigator - warp pilot of the Navis Nobilite -, and
Grimm, the squat engineer. It starts as a routine mission, but soon it
turns out that the genestealer cults are not the only danger preying
upon the citisens of Stalinvast... And like if it wouldn''t be enough a
wierd stranger - who calls himself the Harlequin-man - comes into view,
who seems to be joining hands with the misterious alien race, the
Eldar, and Jaq gets involved in a conspiracy which would shake the
Imperium at it''s funds if it is reaching it''s goal. Draco is forced to
choose between letting the secret organisation reaching it''s goals, or
confronting them risking that he''s gettig posted as a heretic by his
own order. Only the Emperor may know which one is the right path...
This is the first novel in Black Library''s Inquisition War omnibus.
