Otherland takes place in a world similar to our own except that everything that is done on the internet in our world
is done in
virtual reality in their
world. the story begins when a young South African boy named Stephen while playing a game. his older sister Renie and a bushman named !Xabbu embark on a long and dangerous journey to discover the the horrifying truth that her brother and many other children were sacrificed to allow a global cabal of super wealthy men and women to live forever, and rule as god in their virtual kingdoms.
