When I read this years ago, I thought to my self that it might not be very good. At that stage in life I thought
Fantasy
was a waste of time, now it's the next big thing. though I was a bit too young at the time to fully enjoy it.
A couple of years later I picked up tje book again to see if I could get through it. I enjoyed from beginning to end.Which by the way, helped me to become the man today.
Bremen and a few of his friends went on a jounrney that they never
thought possible since they had this crazy idea that they might be able to stop an evil warlock from taking over their world. At this time I had no idea that this was not the first book in the series.
I fliped the pages, as I read and I loved ever single moment of the book.
Brona which is the warlock needed to be stopped at any cost and Bremen knew this as he sent people to find this powerful weapon to defeact him.
After reading such a great book I picked up one of the other books, and read it.To this day, this one man 'Terry Brooks' an idol of mine have has helped me be a better writer. Maybe as good as he is, or slightly under his statue as of several others I have read over the years.
I reconmend this book for all adults and teens,
imagination must be fueled and it helps us to know who and what we are. If not for imagination, fantasy books would not be around nor any other books. Thank you, Terry for opening a world that has inspyiered me and countless of others.
