One story shows how easily ID cards could be forged, and stolen, and the dreadful and expensive cost of trying to report a stolen card to the authorities. Even those grieving for the dead will be affected. The mentality of the ID Card inspector (Uniformed and plain clothed) will be examined closely. So will the attitudes and fates of those who rebel by refusing to carry their cards all the time, as the expensive search activity intensifies.
