An excellent short story written by Stefano Benni. The book is extremely difficult to describe, put its definitely black comedy in a grandiosa dystopia/utopia. I don't dare say much more. Great book. Read it. The story line is excellent and will make you laugh. It will blow your mind. This has been a great eye opener to me. Main characters include a baol-wizard, ex-pornstar, a troupe of acrobatdwarfs, bartenders, pianists (play it again Sam, you can count on him) and much more.
If you see it anywhere give it a try. Best books come form Europe. The Italian author openly critiques Silvio Berlusconi in this book, which to me wasn't that obvious until I read about it. If you have a like to read a little different kinds of books, this will have philosophy, politics, love and thick layers of morbid humour as a dressing.
