As she grows to know and adore Edward, she learns their most dark secret. They are all rescued vampires, part of a family headed by Carlisle and his wife Esme. They have both inspired their younger vampires to resist the thirst for human blood. They welcome Bella in their family because of Edward´s feelings, but when a extremely dangerous group of tracker vampires find them and precisely when one of them, James, fixates on her, the family is drawn into a desperate and confusing hurricane of emotions and dangers. They have to save Bella no matter what.
Stephenie Meyer´s writing is on of those rare combinations of delicacy but with a sharp precision that keeps the reader on the edge of it´s seat; mixed with a sweet and tender note of the love Edward and Bella share. Definetly a must read book.
