Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

Book Review by: Indranil

Original Author: Robert Louis Stevenson
This book has the main character in Dr. Henry Jekyll who believes that in every individual there are two distinct sides of
the character, the good and the evil.  The doctor believes that these two characteristics can be separated with the help of the chemicals that he found in the course of his experiments and is finally able to liberate the two different faces of the same person.  He tries this experiment on himself and this leads to the birth of Mr. Hyde, the worse side of Dr. Jekyll.  Mr. Hyde commits henious crimes whereas Dr, Hekyll is the gentleman of the society.
This book tries to create a link between the good and the evil that is there within all of us and it succeeds in doing so within a few hundred odd pages.
This book is to be read at leisure with a couple of hours in hand. After going through the pages one will never regret picking up this book.
