As Septimus Heap forges his new life around the new family, he discovers that there is more to life with in the Heap family than he had expected. One of his own brothers has returned to reclaim the Heap name and intends to bring destruction to Sept at all cost. Within the his own hatred, the older brother losses his very nature and becomes an enemy to the family name.
In this delightful book we see the characters grow even more but what's so fun about it is that it's filled with witty humor. An even plus is that it is a great read when your not in the mood to read something heavy.
