This book is about a fictional kingdom where a soon to be murder is about to take place, this book is quite different from
any of the
Stephen King novels that I have read. Most of them are about horror and death, while this one has the same murderous plot, it is one of honor and learning what it takes to be a king.
In this book there are two
princes, one who is meant to be the king and everything about him is king-like while the other is a prince but as far from a king as one can get. They live a charmed life with their father who loved both children, though not equally. The villian of this story is a magician who knows the heart of both boys and feels the true king to be would get rid of him, so he murders the king and plants evidence to say the older boy did it. Now imprisioned the older boy must find a way to escape as the younger is made the king. However, this story has a lot of twists and turns that will make you understand why the older of the princes is still the king and many learn this is true.
The ending of this story is fast paced and fun, you will want to help the young prince and you will cheer for his helpers throughout the story. Reading this book is fun, unlike some Stephen King books which tend to over explain everything, this one has no need to. You will definitely find it exciting and interesting as you read this book.
