Slave Escape
Zeta had done half the job,she taken her first step towards
her freedom.Her assassination of her master was cold and silent.Years of slavery had toughened her to the limit.But still escaping the city of 'bazbique' was'nt easy,turning innocent people into slaves was more of a religion than trade for people of the city.Each slave was branded a mark on their backs and forehead as ownership rights.zeta remembered the pain she had endured during the branding at the tender age of 6,she had fainted because of the pain.Remembering this made her more determined for her freedom,her only way of escaping was to scale the 15 foot thick walls surrounding the city,and escaping into the forest.Sitting in the base of the wall, she spots a monitor lizard,and she then she ties a piece of rope made of jute around its neck and flings the lizard onto the wall.The lizard sticks onto the wall with its claws,and tries to run by climbing the wall and pulling zeta along with it.on the edge of the wall when zeta can see the forest,a guard spots her and rings an alarm,zeta know that she has to jump the wall now,and run like a wind into the forest,or she will have to lose her head,the punishment of a slave escaping the city,she jumps from the wall, and run into the dark forest,never to return to the fanatic city of 'bazbique'.
