THE FAULT IS OF THE COW

Book Review by: hardys39

Original Author: Jaime López Gutierrez y Marta Inés Bernal Trujillo
This abstract was translated from LA CULPA ES DE LA VACA
This book
offers us anecdotes, parables, fables and reflections about the leadership, his
authors are: Jaime
Lopera Gutiérrez and Marta Inés Bernal Trujillo. The title
of this book was placed because sometimes we act as the history indicates it of
“ the fault is of the cow ”, so if we do not find a culprit of the things that
happen to us, we even are capable of making responsible to an animal not to
commit ourselves and to accept our errors. Likewise as his authors count it and
since I have lived through it in particular, I can express that the histories
that this book contains, have the firm intention of achieving that every reader
finds in these texts a motive of reflection on the values of the daily life. As
example we have next some of the histories of the book: - the tree of apples,
this serious history that of each of us, our parents are the tree, then of
children, we loved them and we played with them, but as we are growing we left
them single, and single we returned to them when we needed them or are in
problems. It does not matter what is always are there for giving everything us
what they can and making us happy. ''The scars of the nails'', this history we
would have to put it in practice, because treats on a boy whom tapeworm very
badly then character its father gave a stock market him of nails, so that
whenever it was losing the control, it was fixing one behind the door, this day
fixed 37 nails and as the time was happening it was fixing less and less, until
one day managed to be controlled completely and his father said to him that for
every day that should to control oneself he should withdraw a nail; this way it
passed the time, and there came the day in which he could say to his father
that nails were not staying for withdrawing; the man said to him, son looks at
these holes in the wood, never again it will be the same, whenever you insult
someone you leave scars, like which you see , you can apologize and withdraw
the above mentioned but the scar will last forever. On the other hand, we can
add that each of the histories of this book reflects us that these messages of
love, respect, tolerance and peace are capable of touching the heart and of
illuminating the mind of every reader up to the point of transforming his
interior and personality. The pages
of this book constitute, one defied and an invitation to the change, since most
of the anecdotes treats the processes of change, such is the case of the lame
puppy, that it treats as a child who was happening for the street, and she sees
a few pups in selling,  between them one
that was lame, the child was insisting that he wanted to buy it, I extract few
coins that tapeworm to buy it and the proprietor said to him that if really he
wanted it it was giving it to him, the child said to him that not because this
puppy was costing just as the rest, the gentleman said to him that this puppy
will not be layers of running and playing; then the child answered him that
also it was lame and that it could not run very well either, and that with this
puppy would be something different, because it would have someone who was
comprising it. In the life it does not import who we are, but they appreciate
us for what we are, that they accept us and love us unconditionally without
importing the shortcomings that we have … if this is not a call to the change.
then that could be?. The objective of this book is to obtain that each line of
this text helps to lead better our lives… “Because we are what we thought”.
