A Personal Review Of :The Magic of Thinking Big

Book Review by: Eveosphere26

Original Author: Eve Frost

The idea of Self- actualization (fulfilling ones potential)is one of the biggest ideas in human evolution, and one
of the main focuses in the book “The Magic of Thinking Big”. The school of thought that authors, scientists and religious affiliates alike are all embracing, comes from the idea that we can have, be and do anything we want regardless of perceived limitations. This book was the forerunner in the idea of “thought science”:  using thoughts to create the life you want. Now, this book has been proven to be a foundation that has sprung other books dedicated to unleashing human potential.
The Magic of Thinking Big  brought the science of getting what you want into the main stream. It was revolutionary in its time and has created a  snowball effect for the popular psychology or Self- Help field. Schwartz writes to the “average person” he does not gloat or flaunt his intellect. He keeps the ideas simple, practical i.e. anyone can apply them and see results. His writing style can be enjoyed by anyone of relevant age
His emphasis begins with the importance of confidence. He assures you that it plays an integral part of making the “magic” work . He has a way of speaking to you that builds you up, taking you from the lowest depth of yourself and bringing you up to place where you will begin treating yourself with valor and confidence. I changed seemingly overnight, then it just got better as  good things started to happen for me, and before I knew it I was living my dream. This brings me to the next major part of “The Magic of Thinking Big”: Visualization
Schwartz helps you through the muddy waters of your mind as he helps you clear the way to seeing yourself doing what you want. How else would a nineteen year old girl have the audacity to move to New York City with only a hundred dollars in her pocket? (Good thing my hostile had food). Confidence and visualization techniques I had gained from this book propelled me towards taking steps that eventually lead to me living my dream.  I spent 9 months watching ballets and breath taking performances, looking at art, eating foods I could not pronounce and wandering the streets of this enigmatic city all because of reading this book. It guided me in the direction of going after what I truly wanted and I ended up getting it.
This book, suffice to say literally changed my life.
