The book covers many aspects, the
historical, cultural, religious, legends, and folklore of the ancient Camino de Santiago.
The author traveled this route in May and June 2000 and in a diary is narrating everything since leaving from Saint Jean Pied-de-Port and went to Santiago de Compostela, covering the 800 km on foot with a backpack and a staff on a
pilgrimage of religious character, where he had an insight and a lot of emotions, where he met several people of different nationalities, entered into several churches, monuments contemplated, enjoyed the scenery and wildlife. When you finish the path was to Finisterre, a little later where many pilgrims go after arriving in Santiago de Compostela, burn your clothes, in a sign of purification, but not burned clothes.
