Neil Strauss is probably most well-known for his rock star biographies, where he writes with famous rock stars about there
life. In this book, however, he
writes about his life, which is possibly more rock and roll than some of his more famous subjects.
In this book Neil Strauss claims to have stumbled upon the key to pull any woman and the book cahrts his rise to the top of the pick-up scene which culminates in him being given the title of mPUA (Master Pick-Up Artist).
Along the way Strauss comes into contact with varius celebrities including, Tom Cruise, Paris Hilton, Britney Spears and Courtney Love. This adds a sence of realness to the book because the book,
despite the authors pleas to believe the story, it does come across a bit "made-up". This is down to him becoming the best pick up artist after oinly 1 year within the scene and the cheesy "hollywood" ending.
Despite this i really enjoyed the book. Neil Strauss writes wonderfully and doesn't try and come across as better than anyone else. Also, the stories within the book are engrossing and i did care about the characters.
I would advise anyone to read this book and not be too put off by the percieved subject of "pulling girls" as there is much more to this book than that.
