Luv and Kush aged 21 years and 23 years respectively grow up together with the love and guidance of their mother.
Their father was a devout servant of the palace who died mysteriously. Luv is bold and aggressive by nature and helps the poor, needy and the weak by tricking the rich. Contrary, Kush is submissive and simple who works in the palace. They grow up as brothers, but more than a mother’ sons they are the best of friends.
The King lives in the palace always remembering his missing son and praying that he finds the heir to his throne. The King has a daughter who tries to be a son to her father. She fulfills the duties of a son by wandering in the palace for the welfare of the masses, disguised as a man. One day the princess comes across Luv and is impressed by his deeds. She finds his name as Luv and enters Luv’s workgroup disguised as a man to find out about his intentions. Luv finds out about the princess’ reality and sends her back home safely. Luv and the princess decide to assist each other in their missions by disclosing facts about their families. The princess tells him about his lost brother and Luv tells her about his father who died a mysterious death. In the process of helping, each other they soon fall in love.
Kush is a sincere worker of the palace on the footsteps of his father. The King has always felt an unknown affinity with Kush so he invites him for the princess’ birthday party. Kush brings his mother along with him. When the King meets Kush’s mother, he discovers that Kush is his lost son. The King becomes happy but Kush’s mother is saddened. The princess is thrilled to find her lost brother. Kush starts living in the palace. The princess and Kush spend some happy moments together, as brother and sister.
Kush’s happiness is short-lived because Luv comes to know that he is the son of the King who was responsible for his father’s death. Luv goes through an internal conflict between a son’s duty towards his father and his brotherly love. Luv stops meeting the princess taking her for his enemy’s daughter. The princess misses Luv tremendously. Luv’s mother tries to comfort him in this phase of his life.
On the other hand, Kush refuses to accept the throne of kingship after regular insistence from his father, as he feels guilty for Luv. One day the princess overhears Shamsher Singh, the treasurer and finds out the cause of the death of Luv’s father. She tells her brother, Kush everything about Shamsher Singh.
Luv comes to the palace to confront Kush, who tells him the truth. Kush politely informs Luv that the King was unaware of his father’s death and it was Shamsher Singh is who conspired against his father’s honesty. The King and the princess support Kush in his confrontation with Luv. Shamsher Singh discloses how Kush reached Luv’s house and confesses his mistakes. After hearing everyone, Kush requests Luv to forgive his family and accept the princess’ hand in marriage.
Luv could have easily killed Kush, but by believing that forgiveness is higher than revenge, agrees to Kush’s request. Luv and Kush set an example of being the best friends when they by converting their enmity to a family relationship. The princess gets married to Luv.
