ACADEMY OF KNOWLEDGE VERSUS
ALCHEMY OF KNOWLEDGE (Cultivating the Thinking Culture to maximize your
EDGE and not be hedged in the 21st Century Work Place)
Let me inform you that “Life lived with
strategy exists as a
comedy without which it ends a tragedy. “Thinking is better than mere education because thoughts begat perceptions; perceptions are stronger than realities- what you think you perceive and receive; what you perceive and receive you will achieve, without which you have been deceived”.
Life has lied to you for so long, you may be certified in school based on your chains of degree, but not satisfied in life as you are detained without the right to make decrees. Little wonder many of the great men and women, who had great conquests in their generation, were self –educated. I want to say that: “Life without a mindset is nothing, but an offset of the flow of the uncommon wealth resident in the common sense, to culminate into nonsense”. “Thinking is the
mental adventure to see into the pictures of ones future; it is the stirring of ones innate and dormant gifting, in order to handle the steering in life – driving and not being driven to destiny.” I submit to you that “the alchemy of knowledge deals with photosynthesizing and harnessing of the mental resources of the mind, to produce the tangibles from the realm of the intangible, the concrete from the abstract, to birth ones’ inventions of mind registered intentions”. It was by mental osmosis and diffusion that : “Aristotle did not die a mistotle, Einstein was hastened in his scientific discoveries, Edison (with first name as Thomas) had reasons to try an experiment for ten thousand times without relenting; Lincoln became a presidential icon in U.S, Gate (whose first name is Bill – Microsoft Guru) could navigate out of Yale University to have a date in the world of the computers; Newton discovered new things in science and Faraday was too far to be dazed as he saw far beyond his days, Churchill had to chill out after he had hit Hitler badly.
John Maxwell presents the following statistics as an assertion that alchemy of knowledge prevails in any
ACADEMY of knowledge that ever existed:
- More than fifty percent of all CEOs of Fortune 500 companies had C or C averages in college.
- Sixty-five percent of all U.S senators came from the bottom half of their classes.
- Seventy-five percent of U.S presidents were in the lower-half club in school.
- More than fifty percent of millionaire entrepreneurs never finished college.
