Theres not much left to do when youve done your best. Thats all we can do isnt it? Failing isnt something any of us want. Its something we all dont want. Yet its something we all live with in some way in our lives. Some of us keep on
trying until we succeed. Some of us quit because we dont ever see the light at the end of the tunnel. Some of us keep on trying even though things never seem to get better. These are the people thats hearts break everyday. How many times have you tried and watched your efforts go unseen, unapprectiated and unwelcomed. How many times have you felt like life meant nothing because the one thing you want the most seems so unattainable? How many times have you gone
day to day, night after night giving everything you have to something that you
know deep in your
heart isnt going to
work out? Its a
hard way to live yet so many of us live it every day. We try to work and take care of daily business while our hearts are full of torture and torment over something that we cant get out of our minds. Theres never really an answer. The only answer we usually get is to just get so tired of trying or so angry at someones or somthings neverending failing misery inside ourselves that we give up. And giving up is a hard, sad and sometimes infuriating situation. Once that happens... we can move on. Usually, with leftover baggage that someone else has to try to fix. So there goes the onward and neverending story of how and why we all carry
pain into new relationships and new beginnings even though they're called "new" we still have "old" pain and "old" memories of the pain of trying our best and losing the thing we wanted the most. An answer? I dont have one. I dont think anyone does. All we can do is keep on trying. All we can do is know that someone out there and somewhere out there... life will hopefully bring our way the goal our hearts desire. When you give up... there is no hope. So dont close your heart to life. And dont close your heart to hope. Hope is what keeps us all going. For there is no perfect life here. And if there is... it has nothing to do with how hard you try. Because trying doesnt always mean succeeding. And we all know so many suceed without even trying. Keep your eyes on the things that work for you. And take your eyes off of the ones that tear your heart out. God bless us all. And keep us from lives of neverending torture.
