With the profound changes in the working market, today more than never companies need leaders and managers innovative and creative.
Because of that many organizations were wasting energy and intelligence of their employees because of authoritarianism, negligence and lack of superiors vision, the consultant Laurie Beth Jones was seeking inspiration in Jesus Christ to propose principles of leadership toward growth, the harmony and the implementation of all. In a spirit of approach, the author compares Jesus to a businessman who assembled a team of 12 people who were far from being perfect, but managed to train them and motivate them to fulfil their mission successfully.
His goal was to build, not destroy; educate, not exploit, to support and strengthen, not dominate. The strength and hope of the world are in small groups of people led by leaders who work to incorporate core values such as cooperation, goodwill and love.
Following the example of Christ, the consultant presents a model of management based on three categories of forces: the strength of self-control, the strength of action and strength of relations. Jesus, the greatest Leader that ever lived was written to empower people at all levels of leadership and to help those who recognize that the workplace, where most of us spend most of our lives, is really a breeding ground and sacred .
