Take this
book and read it if you dare!
This truly is one of those books which keeps you sitting on the edge of your seat from the first page till the last sentence. So, if you
enjoy a good thriller, love to be scared or
stunned and have a little thing for dogs this is the right book for you.
Travis Cornell, the character we encounter first, is an man disappointed with his life and decides to end it in the wilderness. Fortunately for him a golden
retriever who appears on the path stops him and urges him to go back. Travis senses something isn''t quite right and suddenly becomes overwhelmed with fear. He runs away with the golden retriever hoping it was only a weird panic attack.
Soon he finds out that his new friend is no ordinary dog, but a very
intelligent dog, too intelligent actually. Trying to figure out what is going on he is again stunned when his retriever, who he named Einstein, rescues a young women, Nora Devon, from a stalker with beastly intentions. Travis and Nora begin to built a relationship and also
discover Einstein''s shocking past.
Now they know what''s hunting them and why. A bloodthirsty beast called The Outsider, created for only one purpose with a heart filled with hatred and his mind on only one goal - destroying Einstein.
To make things even worse they discover that a cold-blooded and deranged hitman, Vince Nasco, hired by the goverment who made this terrible mistake, wants them dead aswell.
Travis, Nora and Einstein are faced with great evil and have to unite courage and intellect to fight it. They will stand in the middle of a battle that will take them over the edge of the life they once knew.
Thougth by many, this is by far Koontz''s best book, if you get your hands on it you will certainly enjoy it!
