 The Black Grass 1
         W
ith tears streaming down my face I ran out the class room. At age 9 years I was matured both physically, emotionally, and mentally. I was short and plump with tall nappy hair, being the ugliest of my four sisters I always reminded myself of the story " The Ugly Ducklin". Whenever the students in my class laughed at me, but that day I could not remember that story  as the painful words kept reverberating."That''s the liar" announced my grade four teacher to her lady friend who came to visit her. I thought I was getting used to her calling me a liar everyday but it got worst. The day she hit me in my back the entire class including my best friend Kadian Vassel went into the principal''s office and told her Mrs. Hanson did not hit me. I was embarrased and also stunned. They all saw when she hit me in my bacjk yet they all denied it. But most off all I could not believe my teacher denied it.
