This part of our holiday in South Wales was definitely the best. The beach, at Whitmore Bay, is sandy and the theme park
is fun. It is, however, very expensive: £2/ £3 to go on a decent ride. The children’s rides are more affordable at £1.00/ £1.50 a ride. The places to eat cost too much and are not the best restaurants I have been to. Barry Island sounds as if it is really an island but it isn’t. The parking here is hard to find because it is busy but it isn’t crowded since it is a vast place. Overall, this is a must go if you are in this area this summer but it is not so nice in rain!
