When on-the-run outlaw, Josie Hunter rescues Rebecca from three men the stage is set for an exciting, adventrous lesbian love story. Rebecca and Josie become travel companions, then friends and eventually lovers.  To begin with the relationship is difficult especialy as Josie is "wanted" by the law but as the couple journey through the old west it become's clear that Josie is not the cold hearted killer she trys to pretend to be.  Fate also causes them to cross the paths of a number of other interesting characters which gives both the girls time to change and grow, time to get to know each other and to realize that they are falling in love.
The characters were all very interesting, whether you love or hate them and very realistic for the period. Most importantly the authors have taken their time developing and changing the characters, in particular the relationship between Josie and Rebecca so you had time to get to know them and care whether they became lovers or not. (Oh, and the sex is great!!)  Another great thing was that this book is a good length. Something to get your teeth info. Despite being fast paced the authors still have lots to say to keep the book a satisfying length.

If you enjoy lesbian romance, especially historical or western lesbian romances I would definately recommend that you try this one.
