Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
The book "Harry Potter and the Chamber of
Secrets" by the british writer J. K. Rowling (alias Joanne Rowling) is the second book of the famous "saga" of Harry Potter, a teenaged wizard with a tragic but also heroic past and much of the same for a future. In it, Harry, Ron and Hermione are bound to a new school year at Hogwarts and keep exploring the castle and getting to know other characters (introducing them to the reader, because they will be important in the future, like Fawkes, the phoenix), etc. The mystery concerns old stories from the past in Hogwarts, the discovering of it leads to another Harry-Voldemort confrontation. The story, like the first book, works very well in its own, I mean, you do not have to read the first book to understand this one, and it has a closed end, so, if you don't want to read the following books you don't feel that urge (unlike what happens with the forth book, where you definitely want to read more!). Enjoy!
