Macy Queen has a long and boring summer ahead of her, or so she thinks with her boyfriend off to camp and all the SAT
studying she plans to do in between her boring job at the library and trying to be
perfect. But that all changes when she takes a job at Wish
Catering and suddenly she has friends, people who understand her and see her more than she'd like.
When Macy gets stranded with Wes, a fellow Wish Catering employee and they pick up a game of Truth, she realizes they have more in common than she thought, and handsome, artistic, insightful Wes is more than she can hope for in overcoming the long, lonely summer ahead of her.
Will Macy be able to forgive herself for the past and move toward the future? Maybe she'll realize she does not have to be perfect to be happy.
