Although Stephanie Meyer has announced she will not continue writing
Midnight Sun until the world has forgotten Twilight
(which I doubt will ever happen) after a draft has been leaked on the internet, she has posted the draft herself.
The appealing thing about this book is that it not from Bella’s view, but the view of her vampire-boyfriend (husband-to-be by the fourth book) who is trying to protect her instead of putting her in danger by staying near her.
To
vampires, human scents vary and to Edward Cullen, Bella’s scent is very floral and smells mouth-watering – he realises if any other vampires (apart from his ‘vegetarian’ family) smell the same to them she is in grave danger.
Although it is only twelve chapters, they are written amazingly with a very good range of vocabulary and imagery.
