conditions for cultural development.As a kind of culture phenomena,the development and vicissitude of Lingnan Gardens are affected by special historical and regional conditions,the
natural conditions of subtropical,and tropical regions and special human-historical circumstances create the special art style of Lingnan Gardens.Conforming to the regional and natural environment is an important principle for construction of Lingnan Gardens,which are characterized by the fusion of human culture and natural landscape.Therefore,investigation of Lingnan Gardens from the geographical points of view,analysis from the geographical background about the forming and the temporal-spatial developmental characters are propitious to understand the style of Lingnan Gardens.Finally,in this paper some suggestions for the sustainable development of Lingnan Gardens are put forward.
