The author holds that the idea of protection has taken root in the heart of the people; the safety precaution against fire is carefully carried out; the management and controll are effective and special attention is paid to the communication with the tourists──all these scientific and successful management and experience are worth summing up and spreading far and wide. In the meanwhile, the author also holds that the management of the scenic spot of Huangshan Mountains is not yet perfect and so he makes the following suggestions: First, to establish the idea of running ever-lasting tourism, work out practical plans to develop the tourist resources in the area according to the state policies and laws, and classify the development categories of the resources in a scientic way; Second, all the development items should be rigidly controlled by the superior authorities and estimated by the experts at home and abroad with a view to ensure the social, ecological and economic benefits of the developed items; Third, carry out ecology tourism on a large scale; Fourth, reduce the ecological pollution sources; Fifth, try to develop the landscape resources completely at a deeper stratum; sixth, strengthen the guidance to the tourist activities of the tourists, for instance, paying more attention to the training of the management staff and the propaganda work to the tourists, and rationally liading the tourist flow and using the cable ways.
