Objective Discuss the effect of the concentrated fluid of male tussah miller in protecting liver which was poisoned. Methods 60 mouses were randomly divided into 5 groups:blank antitheses group;carbon tetrachloride model group;Yiganning masculine antitheses group and the concentrated fluid of male tussah miller group (small dose and vast dose group).After taking medicine,we observed SGPT,SG in serum and the changement in histopathology of liver tissue .We did with the data using t-test.Results The result showed that the activity of SGPT of mousses in small dose and vast dose group was 271.10±4.82,273.17±5.27,it was lower than model group and it was highly different (P<0.01).The density of SG was 0.74±0.07,0.97±0.21mmol·L -1,that was lower than model mouse too(P<0.01,P<0.05). We also found that the amount ,the extend and the area of the necrotic liver cell of small dose or vast dose group was less compared with the mouse of model group .Conclusion This experiment showed that the the concentrated fluid of male tussah miller can protect the liver cell in the mouse which is poisoned by carbon tetrachloride and it can reduce the denaturalization and putrescence of the liver cell.
