Objective:To study the effect of combined
Shenmai injection and Xuesaitong injection on the expression of tumor necrosis-αmRNA
of myocardium in rabbits following myocardial ischemia and reperfusion. Methods: 32 rabbits were randomly divided into four groups and were modelled as the reperfusion injury of ischemic myocardium. Modelled rabbits were intravenously injected with 0.9%NS(as controls),
Shenmai injection, Xuesaitong injection,combined Shenmai injection and Xuesaitong injection respectively before reperfusion. Serum TNF- were measured by ELISA at following points: 5min before operation, 25min before ischemia,30min after reperfusion,90min after reperfusion and 180min after reperfusion. The expression of tumor necrosis-αmRNA of myocardium were examined by RT-PCT at the end of experiment. Results: Combined Shenmai injection and Xuesaitong injection decreased serum content of TNF-, down-regulated the expression of tumor necrosis-αmRNA. Conclusion: combined Shenmai injection and Xuesaitong injection could obviously reduced the myocardial ischemia/reperfusion injury induced by TNF-. The efficacy of combined Shenmai injection and Xuesaitong injection is better than that of Shenmai injection or Xuesaitong injection.
