The latest development in
globalization challenges the principle of state
sovereignty both in theory and practice.With respect
to this idea,relevant western intellectual circles are either indifferent,regard it as out of fashion,or see it as the withering away of state sovereignty.These reactions have caused a great clamor.This article analyzes the system and nature of state sovereignty from the perspective of Marxist dialectics.By studying the institutional transition of state sovereignty against the background of
globalization,we can better retain the national tradition by integrating it with globalization.Further,the article analyzes the historicism of the characteristics of the institutionalism of state sovereignty and the homogeneity of state sovereignty and the nation state.Finally,the article concludes with thoughts on how the developing countries can cope with the ideological transition,functional utility,and future tendency of
development of the principles of state sovereignty.
