Industrial tourism is regarded as the new developing traveling products.It has such many kinds of characteristics and advantages of sightseeing,knowledge-seeking,self-participating and interest-arousing,etc.With its unique glamour and wide development prospects,it has developed as an important travel way and has become a new developing focus in recent years.Industry-specialized city is a kind of numerous urban types in China.The main characteristic of industrial tourism development in this kind of city is that the industry combines into the system of the city in which it is situated and forms typical compounding tourism products of industry-city.This paper uses a new framework of RMP for regional tourism development.The model RMP framework consists of three key elements for regional tourism development,which are Resources,Market,and Product.Taking Dushanzi District of Karamay City, north Xinjiang as an example,this paper probes into the industrial tourism development strategy of this kind of city by analyzing of its industrial tourism development condition,current situation and existing problem in respect of developing ideas,traveling products,propagation and marketing efforts,cooperating between enterprise and the governments.
