With the rapid development of tourism,
tourism planning and design has been widely practiced in China.At the same time,the
planning idea,content and method also keep developing.This paper briefly retrospects the developing course of tourism planning and designs,and makes some comments on the impacts of the Systematic Theory and the Ideas of Sustainable Development.Under the macro-background of China that many regions are in their urgent need to develop,much attention must be paid to the social and economic factors in
tourism planning and design.Thereby,by developing “
comprehensive tourism”,tourism planning and development capacity can be strengthened.Based on the already-existed research results,the connotation of “comprehensive tourism” is more clearly explained and the content is generally divided into several aspects,such as comprchensne resources,comprehensive tourism industrial area,comprehensive production chain,comprehensive market and comprehensive system,etc.Then,the industrial conformity and space conformity are emphatially elaborated.It's point out in the end that it's of great significance to make an in-depth research on the “great tourism”.
