.......The story of Dog Chikku!.... a new breed of Indian Dog. The poodle's
a rage among many pet owners who spare no expence to ensure he has everything he needs. And like a Gucci collar and leash, a lot that h doesn't . The 350 dollar designer ensemble was agift for Chikku's birthday, said Asha singh... owners mother. Owner is a 10 year old boy.
........It is said that , Pet products are selling like hot cakes in India. as well as rich but also poverty stricken people. An Industry figurs state that there is no slow down in its annual growth of 10-15 percent.
Mr. J. k. prakash, owner of Vs Associates, a leading pet products importer.... said " The market for pet products is still virgin, but is growing well. There is that much demand." We have seen no slowdown yet." he said at a recent trade fair organised in the capital, Delhi.Indias's pet industry, valued at around 45 million dollars annually( according to research firm Euromoniter), is still aminnow when compared to annual sale of 40 billion dollars in the US.

They all are like family members to my family." further he said that the cost of their care is no concern.
