Tata Robins Frazer or TRF
TRF Limited was established in 1962 and is a part of the Tata Group of Companies. TRF main buisness areas are material handling equipment and processing systems required in the infrastructure development sector. TRF has also diversified into automotive applications business recently. The TRF Works at Jamshedpur spreads over nearly 22 acres with and this includes six covered manufacturing bays on nearly 21,250 square metres. The jamshedpur plant is the mother plant and only plant in India. Here the company is in the design and manufacture of a wide range of material handling equipment used in infrastructure industries the products are over a wide range like cranes,crushers,granulators,feeders,wagon loaders,tippers,conveyers etc.
The company also has its own mini township in Jamshedpur spread over nearly 30 acres known as TRF Nagar. It also has a school Valley View School, supported by the Company.
