The Nursing and Health Care Management Program (or NHCM for short) at the University of Pennsylvania is a Joint-Degree
Program offered through the School of Nursing and the Wharton School of Business.
Students graduate with a Bachelors of Science in Economics (BSE) from the Wharton School and a Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the Nursing School.
The program is typically completed in 4 - 5 years. Students gain exposure to both the clinical and business settings. Within the nursing school, students complete seven-week rotations as upperclassmen in hospitals like the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Children''s Hospital of Philadelphia.
