The thinking of two persons cannot be exactly same.And we should say about persons of two different times,their matching! ooops! It will be totally different.Just as in Management of an organisation, if thinking of two persons contrast each other, how is it possible to achieve the goal? The problem greatly arise when old & new employees need to work together with different thinking skills,but with mutual co-operation.
As we better know, an old employee generally is of traditional thinking and possess the feature of calmness & seriousness.But all these things are quite opposite suited for a new employee. A new employee is having impatient attitude with modern thinking and no further mixture in it.But an old employee generally had their traditional thinking and then, by time to time, some changes continuously occurs in their mind. So, by later stage, it has become of so complicated nature, then it becomes extremely difficult to understand.The generation gap generally had so much changes in their mind that it is for the organisation or not, we cann't say.
This clash could create an extreme problem if not taken seriously & canbe converted into an opportunity if given a proper consideration.Just as we all know young employees generally have the nature to do the work frequently & without any obstacle. So, the organisation should provide them the right environment for it. That is, they should be alloted work & be given only reasonable time to do it( which should be less than the Avg. time to do the same work by all kind of employees). Definitely, you will get the performance which is effective.But is this efficient also? It is not necessary that a frequently done job is fit for every purpose. It could have some serious mistakes. But there is a solution for it also.What will our senior employees to do? They should supervise their work whether on the same class & level or not?
Also when a new employee is admitted in the organisation, he is totally unfamiliar with his co-partners & the working environment.This could create a problem for him & give a chance to do mistake while behaving with others. This could hamper their confidence. But this problem can be solved at the time of orientation. The employee should be told special features of everyone's behaviour.He should be told how could impress to his boss. That experience would fascinate him and he will directly move towards to achieve organisational goals and ,thus, after his personal goals.
