India has agreed to provide required assistance for improving farming and agriculture to eight Latin American countries. The move was contemplated in the wake of recent food crises that is being experienced by all the countries across the world. The eight countries that will receive such assistance from India are El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Belize, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, and Guatemala. Agreements to that effect were signed by the Indian Minister, Pranab Mukherjee.
