Google Drive is finally here, and despite all the hiccups, and blunders with its TOS (directly copied from DropBox's TOS), the new cloud storage solution is definitely here to stay,
Critics may say that it has arrived too late, and there are way too many competiors in the market, such as Microsoft SkyDrive, Amazon S3, Apple iCloud, DropBox, and the likes of them.. But, the Drive isn't just a DropBox clone, as it appeared to be! It has got a whole lot of goodies to offer, and its priced extremely competitively as well.
When you look at thier pricing plan, you just need to pay $2.49/month for 25GB storage space, and your Gmail storage also automatically gets upgraded to 25GB limit.
Another great thing is that Google Drive has the ability to track every single change that you make - i.e. a new revision is saved every time, and it allows you to look back as far as 30 days... One can even choose a revision to save forever!
It's lot cheaper than DropBox, and aggresively priced to challenge all the current market-leaders... Moreover, looking at the customer-base of Google, and its current Gmail users, the company can expect to lure majority of free users into the basic level paid plan for $2.49/month, and generate massive revenues with very little efforts, to begin with!
