This study entitled Financial Management Practices of Multipurpose Cooperative (MPC) in Legazpi City, Philippines aimed to determine the financial management practices and evaluate the level of performance of performing and non-performing MPCs in Legazpi City, Philippines. Specifically, it sought to answer the following problems: 1) What are the financial management practices of performing and non-performing MPCs in Legazpi City, Philippines with respect to: a) Fund acquisition, b) Fund utilization, c) Fund control?; 2) What is the comparative level of performance of the performing and non-performing MPCs?; 3) What strategies for improving financial management practices maybe recommended?
