17,000 Brits live in Turkey as Investors .. so the British are investing in Turkey and in Turkish property due to recent
changes in the law there .... the reasons given are connected with
better value for money, and more affordable homes in Turkey in comparison to the cost
of housing in the UK!
The other reason the Brits are in and out of Turkey is cited as /holidays abroad/and apparently Turkey is 4th on the list of favourite holiday venues and the list is as follows:
1: Spain
2: France
3: Greece
4: Turkey
In personal experience I received some information from a British Agent and I must admit I was greatly attracted to the housing as it stands .. in Turkey but in terms of value for money
Only the other day I was having coffee and my usual waiter was out of town ... however upon his return I enquired where he had been .. and he replied that he had just returned from Istanbul where he had a wonderful holiday staying with a friend. On a more serious note my friends in the profession too are in an out of Turkey on business .. so Turkey gets a "plus" for business economy and leisure!
