Southampton has an array of technical difficulties experienced at present due to the endless
roadworks all around the city.
There are huge big holes in the road and massive redirection and diversions of traffic are ablaze and the whole place is awash with delays.
Only the other day, I caught the bus from out of town into
Southampton and I found myself taking 30 minutes more for every single journey than I would otherwise have planned. In fact the roadworks in several of the main streets have caused
permanent despair as the repairs are taking too long. In fact one of the bus stops which I used has now been dare I say .. closed for weeks and the walk about is up hill and down dale ... I finally had to stop for coffee, today as the roadworks are now a permanent fixture! Hard work in Southampton!
